Do you do the type of piercing I want?

Details of all our piercing are available on our Piercing page of our website, or call 01452 526940

Will it hurt?

A lot of our clients say it doesn’t hurt at all. Some say it feels like a small pinch. Everyone feels pain differently so it can vary from person to person. We do have anesthetic (numbing spray) available at £5, so there is nothing to worry about.

Can you pierce the ear lobes with 9ct Gold?

Yes we can use solid 9ct Gold studs, however the clasp part is gold plated due to gold being a fairly soft metal and not strong enough to make a clasp. The stud and the stem that goes through the lobe/cartilage is solid 9ct gold.

Will it become infected?

All our jewellery is fully sterilized using an ultrasonic and an autoclave sterilizer to ensure each item is completely sterile. A new sterile needle is used for each client; this is opened in front of you from its sealed sterile packet. By following our aftercare advice and keeping the piercing clean, you shouldn’t encounter any problems.

Children must be aware that touching the ear lobe after the piercing could put gems onto the lobe and cause an infection. Please ensure your child understands this and does not touch their piercing.

Pierced cartilage is more difficult to heal so extra care should be taken.

Will it grow out?

Occasionally surface piercings are difficult to heal, because, as the body rejects the body jewelry as a foreign object, the jewelry is pushed to the surface, causing the piercing to grow out (also called rejection). Proper placement and jewelry selection by an experienced body piercer can help alleviate this problem. A well done surface piercing can last anywhere between 3 months and several years. This differs from person to person.

A Tongue piercing can also change position as the tongue is a muscle. So over time you may find the piercing moves.

Do I need to make an appointment or can I just call in?
